Citrine’s highest aim is to champion the people behind the stories they’ve grown courageous enough to tell, uncovering the infinite possibilities of the human spirit. Braving the IP-driven deluge of the modern-day film industry, we’ve made it our mission to highlight and intensify singular talents and diverse points of view.

It takes guts to create something imperfectly human, and a filmmaker’s audacity is energizing.

Citrine is currently in post-production on Seahorse, the debut feature from multi-hyphenate Aisha Evelyna, funded by Telefilm Canada’s Talent to Watch program. The film explores housing insecurity, mental health, and generational trauma within the Caribbean diaspora.

Citrine is open to new collaborations and partnerships rooted in shared values and a mutual sense of urgency that align powerfully around storytelling.
